The Mr India South Africa is a platform to motivate excellence in men. The event cleverly combines the arts. business, fashion, charity, culture and life skills.
Our objective is to motivate young men to become positive role models that can impact the communities they live in. It is also our aim to get the contestants actively involved in youth development programmes and also make a difference in the lives of the less privileged. This is not a beauty competition, but rather a platform to grow the beauty of the mind and spirit of the chosen finalists.
Part of the programme and not restricted to:-
A Cookoff; A Modelling and Grooming Clinic; An Acting Clinic and TV Presenters Clinic, Power Talks, Golf, A Fashion Shoot. The event is a merging of our Africanism and the Indian Culture, and more importantly being proudly South African.
The fashion shoot is styled and handled by Absolute Model Agency. The finalists go through an intensive photographic and runway model training. They learn about correct posing methods, develop a sense of style and correct posing. We promote a classic look that is timeless for the men.

Each Finalist is required to identify a charity or people in need and aid towards assisting. Help and direction is given by past finalists and the Mr India South Africa team.
The drive is to create an awareness, so that the general public design their thinking to help the less fortunate and those in need.

We are proud to have the Papwa Sewgolum brand as part of the
Mr India South Africa.
The Papwa Sewgolum Men, son, Mr Rajen and Grandson, Nisharlin have been instrumental in the development of young businessmen in the field of golf. The Finalists, many of whom have not have had any training, spend some valuable time being trained by these legendary men.
FYI: Papwa was considered one of the worlds greats in Golf, and won the world champion, beating Gary Player in 1965 in the Natal Open. A position Gary had held for four years previously.
The value of this Golf lesson with a talk on its history of the people of colour in South Africa is priceless.

Knowing how to cook is a Life Skill.
Finalists are groomed to develop this skill. Each Finalist prepares a meal for their Mum and Dad or a family member.
The feed your brain the right foods is the path we foster with these young men. You are what you eat.
Much research and fun goes into the preparation of:
a. The Recipe
b. A Food Tasting Event is put together
c. The Invitation list is the Who's Who,
and more importantly, Family.
GROOMING & MODELLING
Finalists each will received a complete lesson on grooming, deportment and modelling.
TV PRESENTER CLINIC
The Finalists will received some basic knowledge on how to handle television presenting.

ACTING CLINIC
Award winner Producer Dr Eubulis Timothy trains and gives the finalists an overview on the skills on Film & Acting Industry.
